He was born in 1975 in Ünye, Ordu. His family comes from Of, Trabzon. He qualified as a doctor in 2000 and as an ear, nose and throat specialist in 2004. He has completed 26 years in medicine and 22 years in the speciality.

Operations through the nose

The nasal cavity is a corridor that opens to the skull base. The surgeon goes through it with an endoscope and does three operations without one cut on the outside. Few surgeons in Turkey do all three.

  1. Nostril. The mouth of the corridor. The endoscope enters here and nothing outside is cut.
  2. Turbinates. Breath passes through here. When the turbinates grow, the passage narrows and snoring starts.
  3. Pituitary gland. The gland sits just below the brain. The corridor ends here.
